eeehar!

im so damn sure im having the time of my life here in Sydney, so much so that i've lost track of time. I was talking to mom on msn, and the convo went like this

Time: 5.43pm

Me: How come you're back from work so early?
Mom:Its Saturday today.
Me: Oh! Haha

my gawd.

Concussed the moment i got home after last night at Sky Garden. 2 orange vodka and i was sleepy.
Woke up at 1030. Met at lobby with the group at 1100 to go to the Sydney's Observatory Museum. Coolness. Lotsa telescopes there, etc. In case you didn't know, i'm taking this module about the universe. Glad we have guys with us, because we can never figure our way there. Theres this thing i could never fathom about the woman species, i still think they can't read maps to save their lives. haha. For me at least, and i'm always getting lost! is it me, or is it the map. To date, i've been lost only twice, because we took the wrong bus. And on campus, i'm never lost, because i follow the crowd. But i stilll have problems with navigation. Ah, what the heck.

So after the museum, we took a bus down to Paddington Market, which is kinda along Oxford Street. At Oxford Street, you find many upmarket boutiques, that would definitely burn a big damn hole in your pocket if ever you consider shopping there. Alas, i didn't get anything, because i seriously couldn't afford the stuff there. Its really not any better at Paddington Market. its kinda like a bugis village/stadium cove flea market concept. But hey guess what, you're paying 45 bucks for a pair of beaded earrings, which i'm sure you can find something similiar in singapre for 5 bucks. I suppose its because, its a known tourist attraction, and hence the price. We had lunch there, shared a damn huge hot dog with my flatmate.

So after the walking, we headed to Max Brenner Chocolate Bar. Excellent i tell you. It's entirely different from the on at Esplanade. So much more varieties on their menu. We each had a frappe, yum and shared Brownies and Fondues. I got really sick of it after awhile. I swear to stay away from chocolates for the next two weeks. Damn good.

From there, we headed to Bondi Junction again, which is prollyabout 7mins bus ride. And then we took a bus back to Kensington from Bondi Junction, which is about 12 mins bus ride.

I've just discovered great places to eat at Kingsford. Adam lives in Kingsford, about 3 trafficlights down from my place. He recommended me this chinese restaurant called Red Hat. For the first time i've tasted authentic chinese food in Sydney. I had beef kuey teow, as much as i hate to admit, it tastes just as good as the one at Geylang. 7 bucks for a gigantic portion, i couldnt finish! Its pretty much a zhi-char place, they had fried rice, ee mee etc etc. The food there is way better than the one at school.
See, i keep talking about the stupid food here, and i've definitely gained some weight. Without a doubt. Pfft.

Shoutouts to all my friends!
Nim, Nut, Moe, Neha, Evan, i miss all of ya! If only you guy were here man. Haha.
Going overseas is fun! Glad i took your advice Neha! And i do not eat boiled-rice-in-a-bag. Haha. not that they have it here anyway.
Ahkow, my everlong bitching pal, haha, when i come back we can go 'la kopi' and start out bitching session. You will love NZ. trust me!
