Pancakes On The Rocks Rocks My Socks!

Yesterday, we went to Paddy's market to get stuff for our xmas bbq. Market City, ain't that place familiar? I got myself a Silverchair Tshirt at the market. Whee. Oh and we went to some Taiwanese restaurant couple of days back. Bubble Tea. My gawd, the most Singapore thing ever.I've finally managed to drink that, at a huge price of cost. $3.80/ cup! And we had really excellent food. (shit, im talking about food again. heck) We had ma po tou fu with rice. so yummy. And that box of spaghetti you see in the pic, that was my dinner for today. Too tired to cook after comingback from Bondi Junction. Heinz Spaghetti with Sausage. Gets really sickening after a while. haha.

What a screwed up collage i've got. They don't seem very coherent. uhh...those are my friends, the ppl whom i hang out with, talk cock with, cook with.

After dinner, we took a bus down to Market Street. Somewhere in the city where we could see christmas tree. But their xmas decoration wasn't as extensive and elaborated as that in Singapore. You see only trees, and i mean it. Market Street is in a way like Orchard, but not as huge as Orchard ( i think) We walked down to Queen Victoria Building, which is a mall that's very Victorian? The huge xmas tree is made up of 40, 000 swavroski crystals. Took them 3 years to set that up. And if you wanna attempt to nick a couple of crystals from the tree, you've got another thinking. Security guards walk up and down, guarding the stupid xmas tree. Took many pics nonetheless, will post it really sooon cuz its not in my camera.

And the icing on the cake, Pancakes at Pancakes on the Rocks. They're really famous for their pancakes, and they open 24hrs a day. Its no wonder why they even gave us theBreakfast menu when we stepped in there at 11.30pm. My gawddddddddddddd. I've never tasted such good pancakes! Reallly. not exaggerating. Besides pancakes, they serve crepes too. wah lauu, heavenly. You wouldnt want me to post a pic of those pancakes, just in case you salivate and damage your keyboard. haha. Pancakes On The Rocks is a place i would definitely go back again, before i leave Sydney. 10000000000000 points for their pancakes. I had Chocolate jewel.Chocolate flavoured pancakes topped with chocolate ice cream with a delectable drizzle of chocolate fudge. YUM! I had abit of Chicken and Mushroom crepe too.Okoookk.i dont wanna talk about food anymore. Why, because im definitely grown fatter. And it didnt help that i passed jogging to coogee with my friends this morning, because i had to meet Mun for lunch. Met him this afternoon and we ate at Kingsford. Oporto. They have good burgers. I also had a tim tam ice cream. SHITTTTTT. did i just talk about food again??

Food aside. I realised i really have to start studying and finish up my damn assignments

We marinated the stupid chickens for the bbq tmr. Actually, not we, its just one really pro girl. She's our lau niang (aka old mother) here in sydney. She can cook, she knows how to go marketing, she is a full-fledged home-maker. haha. im kidding. She is a really niceeeee and genuine person. She cooks for us, while we go jogging. She told us to go bathe while she marinates the chicken, she volunteers to go into the smelly fish section in the market. haha. Are we lucky or what? She can really cook i swear. And her marination is super pro. Add honey, add chilli powder, add pepper, add seseame oil, add teriyaki sauce, garlic. wah liewwww. i've learnt so much from her.

ps: who the hell does laundry at 3.30pm? I hear ppl talking at the laundry room downstairs. Siao gi na! Haha.

super tired.
Signing off!
Merry xmas to one and all!
